Agile Automations appoints former journalist to head up firm’s communications strategy

Specialist Manchester-based robotic process automations firm, Agile Automations, has appointed Shelina Begum to head up the company’s communications strategy.

Shelina Begum, the former Manchester Evening News (M.E.N) business editor, will be integral to driving the company’s external communications strategy as Agile Automations, enters its next stage of growth.

Agile Automations is a robotics process automation (RPA) provider, with clients across the globe. The company specialises in developing bespoke RPA solutions incorporating machine learning and AI, without using any platforms or requiring ongoing licensing fees; resulting in a solution that can be created to truly unlock the potential of the workforce by removing remedial, every day, repetitive business processes and tasks.

The firm works with businesses large and small across a diverse array of sectors, including financial services, property, legal and insurance, and counts multi-national banks in their client list as well as SMEs and non-profit entities.

Shelina left the M.E.N in August after 21 years to pursue freelance opportunities. As a business journalist and editor, Shelina brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to Agile Automations where she will work closely with its CEO Martin Keelagher as the company continues to experience significant growth.

Shelina comments:

“Agile Automations has gone from strength to strength, demonstrating the breadth of its offering at a time when automation, machine learning and AI is playing a crucial role in helping businesses navigate their way through these uncertain times.

“This is an exciting time for the business, and I’ve been extremely impressed by its vision and look forward to working with Martin and the team.”

Martin said:

“We have some exciting plans in the pipeline and with Shelina’s expertise, we want to continue to build our brand and presence regionally, nationally and internationally.

“Automation and digital transformation are a top priority for companies at the moment – especially workflow innovation – and adopting tools such as RPA will help transform companies but also cater to long-term objectives and provide them with a competitive edge, on the international stage.”
