Agile Automations named in Top Tech: North West 2020

Manchester-headquartered robotics process automations firm, Agile Automations, has been named today in Mills & Reeve Top Tech: North West.

Agile Automations joins some of the region’s most pioneering and innovative technology companies across the North West.

Launched in September, in partnership with TheBusinessDesk.com, Top Tech: North West is designed to showcase the cutting-edge companies which have put the region on the map as a world-class hub for technological development and innovation.

Nominations were received from a diverse range of technology companies from across the North West including MedTech companies whose technologies have proved vital during the COVID-19 pandemic, and those at the forefront of robotics and artificial intelligence (AI).

Given the number of high calibre entrants, the expert panel, made up of some of the leaders in the technology sector, had the difficult task of judging the entrants.

However, after the healthy debate, the entries were whittled down and just 20 companies were selected for inclusion in the report, while two were highly commended.

Mills & Reeve, partner and Top Tech: North West judge, Paul Knight, said: “We launched Top Tech: North West with the aim of shining a light on the region’s innovative and cutting-edge technology companies, and we were not disappointed.

“We were presented with fascinating insights into some outstanding work being done here in the North West and many of the pioneering companies have carved out niches to become leaders in their fields.

“However, what they all had in common was their passion and resilience.

“In the face of the COVID-19 pandemic, the region’s technology companies have risen to the challenge by adapting and helping their clients to adapt to new ways of working.

“They have epitomised the North West’s entrepreneurial spirit and, therefore, we are delighted to give them the recognition they deserve.”

Agile Automations specialise in developing bespoke Robotic Process Automations (RPA) – putting technology at the very heart of an organisation’s infrastructure; creating a robotic workforce, capable of being scaled up and down, in line with the needs and wants of the business.

Martin Keelagher, CEO of Agile Automations, said: “We’re proud to be named in the Mills & Reeve Top Tech 2020 report and I want to thank the judges for their recognition of the amazing tech businesses across the North West.

“Agile has been at the forefront of robotics since our inception five years ago. As we move through the pandemic, the role RPA plays has become even more important for organisations that want to accelerate their growth, while improving service and reducing costs.

“Robotic Process Automation can help mitigate disruption by enabling businesses to stay connected across teams and systems, maintain customer support and offer stability in times of uncertainty.”
